Vonda Shepard’s successful stint as the soulful musical voice of the hit TV series Ally McBeal is only one of the many polished gems adorning her prolific singing career.
From her late-‘80s hits to her latest acclaimed CD SOLO, Vonda has a well-deserved reputation for crafting and performing authentic R&B and modern-day soul in a down-to-earth way.
This February she returns to The RRazz Room stage for a show that is sure to rock the house with her bluesy renditions of vintage covers and original compositions. Her richly textured voice has been called part Anita Baker and part Aretha Franklin, while her songs’ musical depth and complexity are reminiscent of Joni Mitchell and Sarah McLachlan.
